home!

Sorry it's been so long. I guess I've been focused on getting back into the groove of things here in Portland and also just too lazy to write anything. I'm staying with some good friends at the moment (on the floor) and back to washing dishes at a cafe I worked at long ago (J+M).
In other news however, Todd and I finally got around to getting a house to live in and its right around the corner from a really cool neighborhood in North Portland. We're moving in with a girl we just met through craigslist but she seems really nice and we're sure it will all work out. Plus the landlord's giving us the rest of this month free of rent to give us time to move in. So yes! Catastrophe averted. Now when C comes I will actually have a house that I pay rent in and call my own instead of a floor mattress at a friends house. It has been nice living with these guys though. Endless hours of video gaming and donut sharing have really brought back a lot of memories and got me excited to be back in Portland. That, plus the weather has finally turned around a little bit - at least for now.
How is Berlin? I wonder. It's been a while since we parted. Hopefully not too long before we meet again.
